My photographic work deals with the abstraction of nature, creating partial glances of the whole to reframe the object and create a new visual language for the natural landscape. Framing everyday objects in this manner causes the viewer to refocus and allows them to appreciate the ordinary in an extraordinary manner. Abstraction gives me the means to explore these ideas on many different levels and create my own abstracted landscape in which to wander.
